In response to coronavirus (COVID-19), GPs and pharmacies are moving suitable patients to electronic Repeat Dispensing (eRD). You might be suitable for eRD if you get regular or repeat medicines that don’t change. eRD means your GP can send your regular or repeat prescriptions electronically to a pharmacy and you don’t have to order it monthly. More information about eRD can be found here.

The chemist and the surgery can offer delivery of your medication if you are self-isolating following government advice during the pandemic.

Booking an appointment or requesting repeat prescriptions on-line

via the NHS App

We recommend the NHS app which will allow you to request your medication through your phone. It is free, and has links to NHS choices and a symptom checker. You will also have access to your core medical record.

Parents can sign up for the app on behalf of children (under 14); please contact the surgery on 01751 471296 if you would like to do this.

You do not need to come to the surgery with your ID. You will be asked to send the NHS app team a picture of your ID and a short video of your face to verify your identity.

via Systmonline or the Airmid app

Systmonline is an online service run by our clinical system (SystmOne) provider TPP.  If you have a smartphone or tablet you can also access this through their Airmid App.

We will need to verify your identity, so you will be asked to attend the surgery with a form of photographic ID. We will then provide you with your account details.

If you haven’t already registered for Systmonline click here for more information.

Home Visits

If you require a home visit, please contact the surgery on telephone number 01751 471296 before 10 am whenever possible.  A receptionist will take brief details and a doctor or nurse will return your call to obtain further information and confirm an approximate time if they agree a visit is necessary.

Test Results

You can obtain your blood and urine test results over the telephone or in person at the surgery reception. You can also obtain them online via NHS App, Systmonline / Airmid App if you are registered for access to your Medical Record.

If you haven’t already registered for Systmonline click here for more information.

Unless you were specifically asked to call in sooner, please allow 14 days before contacting us to give time for your results to reach us. To obtain your results by telephone dial 01751 471296.

If your results are within normal limits, they will be given to you by the receptionist, otherwise, a doctor will telephone you to discuss them.

If you phone us after 14 days and the results are not available we will automatically follow this up to find out what the delay is.

For patient confidentiality reasons, we will not give your results to anyone else, unless they are responsible for your care.
